About Us
History
Our core philosopy: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and build a better future, regardless of their family's circumstances.
The Foundation’s story is closely connected with Naveen Nursery & Primary School, which had already been serving children in Varanasi for many years. Wider Vision Foundation grew around the desire to strengthen the school and make quality education accessible to children from families who could otherwise struggle to afford it..
From the beginning, the vision went beyond simply providing a place in a classroom. The aim was to create an environment where children feel valued, encouraged and supported. This meant investing not only in children’s education, but also in teachers, learning materials, creative activities and the wider conditions that help children develop confidence and realise their potential.
Over time, the work also extended beyond the school. Wider Vision Foundation has provided targeted support to women, families and individuals facing difficult circumstances, particularly where poverty or vulnerability affects the wellbeing and opportunities of children.
Today, education remains at the heart of Wider Vision Foundation. Through Naveen Nursery & Primary School, teacher development, creative learning and community-based support, we continue the original vision: creating opportunities that can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
“Where there is a heart, there is a way.”
